How to Customize Your Home Screen and Organize Your Apps

1. Move Apps on the Home Screen

1. Press and Hold the App Icon

  • Tap and hold the app icon you want to move.

2. Drag the App Icon

  • Once the app icon enlarges slightly, drag it to the desired location on the home screen.

3. Release the App Icon

  • Release the app icon to place it in the new location.

2. Create Folders

1. Press and Hold an App Icon

  • Tap and hold the app icon you want to place in a folder.

2. Drag the App Icon onto Another App

  • Drag the app icon over another app icon that you want to include in the same folder. A folder will automatically be created.

3. Name the Folder

  • Tap the newly created folder and then tap the text area to enter a name for the folder.

4. Add More Apps to the Folder

  • To add more apps to the folder, drag and drop additional app icons into the folder.

3. Remove Apps from the Home Screen

1. Press and Hold the App Icon

  • Tap and hold the app icon you want to remove from the home screen.

2. Drag to Remove or Uninstall

  • Drag the app icon to the "Remove" or "Uninstall" option at the top or bottom of the screen, and release it. This will remove the app from the home screen. If you uninstall it, it will be removed from your device entirely.

4. Add Widgets

1. Press and Hold an Empty Space

  • Tap and hold an empty space on the home screen until a menu appears.

2. Select Widgets

  • Tap on “Widgets” to open the widget menu.

3. Choose a Widget

  • Browse through the list of available widgets and tap and hold the widget you want to add.

  • Drag the widget to the desired location on the home screen and release it.

  • Tap and hold an empty space on the home screen until a menu appears.

  • Tap “Set wallpaper” and choose whether you want it for the home screen, lock screen, or both.
